Biographical Information
Jan Obrand is a Professional Organizer who applies her skills in the public and private sectors. She has spoken nationally for NACAP (the National Association of Claim Assistance Professionals, and the Midwest Regional Folk Music Alliance Conference.
Articles about Jan have appeared in Crain's Small Business, the Home and Small Business Reporter, the Chicago Tribune, and most recently, Medical Economics and the American Medical News.
Ms. Obrand is an active member of the Wheeling/Prospect Heights Chamber of Commerce and on the Executive Board of Directors for the Buffalo Grove Chamber of Commerce. She is currently the District Treasurer for FWI (Financial Women International) and the Corresponding and Recording Secretary for Continuity of Care. She is also involved in BPW (Business & Professional Women).
After working in the corporate workforce for twenty years as an office and operations manager in the construction industry, Ms. Obrand started In Working Order in 1992 to bring her remarkable organizing skills to homes and offices throughout the country.
Ms. Obrand has been featured on Mom Talk Radio and the Milt Rosenberg program on WGN Radio in Chicago. She has also appeared on a panel of "Ask the Expert" at the National Conference of Professional Organizers in Santa Clara, California.
